Organic chemistry I
This course provides a comprehensive exploration of the chemistry of carbon compounds. The course focuses on introducing, structuring, naming and understanding the reactivity of organic functional groups. You will see the significance of organic chemistry in your daily life and its interrelation with various disciplines. By taking this course, you will develop a solid foundation in organic chemistry principles and gain an understanding of how widely applicable they are. You will learn to analyze and predict organic reactions, determine the structure of organic molecules using spectroscopic techniques and explore the medicinal aspects of organic compounds.
